Digital archaeology

A year ago I didn’t renew my web hosting service and lost about 10 years of databases, photos and text which I had uploaded since 2010. After I realised my mistake I contacted my Web hosting service Godaddy to see if they had a back up but unfortunately they had deleted everything.
It was a my story of my life in pictures and words, built with HTML, PHP, AJAX and MySQL
Now I’m starting a slow process of digital archaeology, rebuilding the website.
The first step was to choose a domain and a web hosting service. I chose thomtech.uk for the domain and I have gone back to Godaddy despite my disappointing experience because I like their technical support service which is available 24 hours a day by telephone.
I have already started to upload some content using the WordPress templates to start with but I will add my own code soon.
